What are lessons and where do they come from?

Lessons are short step-by-step modules in the Train tab, built by your manager or generated by AI from your playbook and your team's real objections.

A lesson is a short sequence of steps you tap through in the mobile app: a page to read, a quiz, a line to say out loud, a replay to listen to, or a roleplay to run. Lessons live under the Train tab. Tap the Lessons card to see them grouped by category: Playbook, Openers, Discovery, Objection Handling, Closing and Product Knowledge. Each card shows the time it takes and the XP it pays.

Onboarding lessons

New reps see a screen titled Let's Get You Ready before they reach the Home tab. It lists the onboarding lessons your manager set up, with a Your Progress count. Work through them in order. When the last one is done, the button changes to Start AI Practice and the rest of the app unlocks. A manager can skip onboarding for a rep who needs to start recording immediately, and can reassign it later without losing progress.

Companies that run more than one kind of rep, for example door-to-door reps and in-home techs, keep separate onboarding tracks. The track you see is decided by the team you belong to, which is why managers should add a new hire to the right team before their first sign-in.

Inside a lesson

Open a lesson and a progress bar shows which step you are on. Step types:

  • Read. Text, a script, a tip or a bulleted list. Tap Continue.
  • Quiz. Pick an answer and tap Check Answer. A wrong answer lets you try again. Two wrong answers on one question fail the lesson with a Quiz Failed message; the lesson restarts from the first step the next time you open it.
  • Speak. Roonly plays or shows a line, you tap Tap to Speak, say your response, and tap Stop. The AI grades it and shows either Nice work with What worked, or Almost with a Try this hint. You get 3 attempts by default.
  • Listen. A replay of one of your team's best sales, with key moments marked. The step completes once you have listened to enough of it.
  • Watch. A video your manager uploaded. Watch to Continue.
  • AI Role Play. A live practice scenario. Scoring 70 or higher advances the step; lower scores let you try again.

Finishing the last step shows Lesson Complete and the XP you earned. Lessons in progress resume where you left off. Completed lessons can be reopened from the start.

Where lessons come from

Managers build lessons on the web dashboard under Training, in the Lessons tab.

  • Build manually. New Lesson opens a wizard with a Build Manually option: add sections, quizzes, practice scenarios, videos and speak steps, then Review and Publish.
  • Generate with AI. The same wizard has a Generate with AI path. It reads your company playbook, your team's real objections from recorded conversations, and your best-scoring sales, and drafts a set of lessons on a chosen topic. Generated lessons land under Pending Review, where a manager previews, approves or deletes them. Nothing reaches reps until it is approved.
  • Create with AI for onboarding. The Onboarding Lessons card can generate a full onboarding batch, including replay lessons built from real winning calls and roleplay lessons built from the objections your reps face most.

Managers can also assign a specific lesson to one rep. It shows up in the rep's Your Coaching Plan with a Manager Assigned badge and a Start lesson link, and the rep gets a Training Assigned push notification.

Replays

The Replays card on the Train tab opens Top Sales, a ranked list of your team's highest-scoring conversations that ended in a sale, filtered by 7, 14 or 30 days or All Time. Each opens a player with the score, the talk ratio and the key moments. Listening to enough of one marks it complete and pays XP. Replays are the fastest way to hear how a teammate handled the objection you keep losing.
