How do I record a conversation?
Open the Roonly app and tap the large "Record" button on the home screen. Make sure you have microphone permissions enabled. After recording, tag the conversation type and outcome, then save.
Do I need consent to record?
Yes, in most jurisdictions you need consent from all parties to record a conversation. Laws vary by location - some states require all-party consent, others only one-party consent. Always check your local laws and obtain proper consent before recording.
How accurate is the AI transcription?
Our AI transcription is highly accurate for clear audio in most environments. Background noise, multiple overlapping speakers, or poor audio quality may reduce accuracy. For best results, hold your phone steady and record in relatively quiet conditions.
Can I use Roonly offline?
Yes! You can record conversations without an internet connection. Recordings will be queued and automatically uploaded when you're back online. Transcription and analysis happen after upload.
How do I invite team members?
As a manager or admin, go to the web dashboard, navigate to Team settings, and use the invite feature to send email invitations to your team members.
